Joe Covers the Fiero
Dashboard Pocket

  Back

Passenger dash map pocket re-cover:

You will need four door panel clips.
 These are universal:

Pry map pocket off use a flat head screwdriver,
place cloth or rubber between map pocket and the dash
so you not damage the edges of the dashboard.

Drill out holes in map pocket to insert the
     door panel clips.
       I used a 1/4 drill bit.

Insert the door panel clips in the map pocket holes.

Make sure that you cut off and file smooth
the twist-off parts of the door panels clips.

This will allow the door panel clips to fit flush.

Insert the door panel clips in the map pocket holes.

 6. Place your material over the top of the
map pocket and trim as needed.

I used a t50 staples that are 1/4 inch thick.
      It worked perfectly for me.

 7. Line up the retainer clips with the stock holes in the dash
and press firmly on all for corners.

  Thanks for watching, Joe.
