Re-Assemble the Seat

 To Re-Assemble the Miata seat...
 1. Bolt the recliner mechanism to the backrest.

 

  *Install the pivot bracket plastic cover !

 2. Locate the Pivot Pin into the hole in the pivot bracket.
 3. Install the Pivot Pin set screw.
 4. Align the recliner mechanism to the seat bottom bolt holes,

    *A rag placed over the upholstery will help protect from scratches.
 5.Bolt the recliner mechanism to the seat bottom.

   *A large screwdriver in one of the holes eases alignment.

 6. Slide the top recliner cover down and on, install the screw.

 7. Slide the bottom recliner cover on so the recliner lever protrudes,

 8. Catch the bottom recliner cover tabs on the steel,
      position the cover and install the screws.

 9. Place the recliner lever handle in place and tap with a hammer.

 10. Install the tracks.
11. Anchor the speaker wires:

   *Be sure to lift the recliner lever and pivot the backrest fully forward.
     This will create the proper amount of slack in the speaker wire.
