When placing a driver’s seat on the passenger side because of
clearance issues (a common practice when using Fiero seats in
the MG);
the usual plastic handle of the Fiero recliner mechanism can be
difficult to operate when between the seat and driveshaft
tunnel.
If so; replace the standard plastic handle with
Leather Recliner Tabs, as shown here.
Additionally;
Placing the recliner inboard hides the often unsightly
mechanism:
1. No need to deal with broken or missing plastic covers.
2. A much cleaner look to the seat side when the door is opened. |
